2008 RICA Annual Meeting Information

The goal of the Annual Meeting, as with all RICA events, will continue to be equipping member companies with the skills and strategies they need to effectively compete in all lines of business. This year’s Annual Meeting will have a targeted focus of “Building upon Broadband”. Sessions will address issues like planning for future bandwidth needs, studying emerging capacity management techniques, engineering and technically supporting increased customer pipes, and marketing the expanded service availability to customers. As with past events, speaker emphasis will focus on current practices at leading-edge telcos, giving practical, real-world guidance and experiences. Industry insiders, companion industry service providers, and regulators will lend their insights as well, providing RICA members and meeting attendees a broadband offering examination that is at once broad in scope and in-depth in coverage.

Hosted at the Hilton Chicago, minutes from the famed Miracle Mile, Navy Pier, and the beautiful lakeshore district, there are multiple opportunities for attendees to find entertainment unique to this lively metropolis after an intense day of learning and discussion. RICA is excited to offer attendees the chance to attend a dinner theater and comedy revue at Tommy Gun’s Garage, an interactive evening of food, music and entertainment centered on Chicago’s colorful gangster past.
